Uniform Policy
Section 5-Dress Code
5.1 General Regulations
In order to encourage the environment of unity and school pride, it is the policy of St. Paul Catholic School that a school issued uniform shall be worn by all students. Each day, students are expected to be clean, and well groomed, and uniforms are to be in good condition. School uniform tops are available through the school only. The Principal will announce casual days or exceptions to the uniform code. Parents will be notified of any changes in the uniform code.
If a student violates the uniform policy, the school will replace the out of uniform item (socks, belt, shirt) and charge the student’s Facts account for the item. If the item cannot be replaced at school, (khaki bottoms, shoes) the parent will be notified and asked to bring a replacement. Socks will be $3.00. Belts will be $10.00.
Casual Christian Wear is a privilege and not a right. Students earn their Friday wear by being in uniform M-TH. Students who are out of uniform will receive one warning, and parents will be notified during the 1st 9 weeks. After the 1st 9 weeks, students will no longer receive a warning and will automatically lose their Casual Christian Friday wear. Parents will be notified of the loss of Causal Christian Friday wear. If the office has to replace an out of uniform item, the student will still receive the warning during the 1st 9 weeks and lose their Casual Christian Friday wear from the 2nd 9 weeks and on. If the student shows up on Friday in Casual Christian wear when they were supposed to be in uniform, the student will receive lunch & recess detention as well as the loss of the next Casual Christian Friday wear.
